Helpful Information You Should Know
Getting Started
Consultations are required for all new pet care clients. New client consultations are $35.00. After the initial set up you can schedule as few as one visit at a time. Here’s what we cover (approximately 25 / 30 minutes) sometimes longer. We don’t rush through these. This is usually our one and only time that we meet face to face and get to know each other.
- Meet your pet(s) and pass the sniff test!
- Take a tour of your home.
- And most importantly customize a plan for your pets individual needs.
- Key Options – 1. 3 sets of keys. 2. Provide a lock box with 2 sets of keys inside. 3. Electronic door lock. We will not use garage doors as our only form of entry due to malfunctions or power outages, we must be provided with a backup key in a lock box.
If we need to make additional trips after the initial consultation regular pet sitting rates apply. This could happen if you want to show us changes in person or in rare circumstances we may need to do a trial run with your pet to make sure we are the right fit. We do not pet sit aggressive pets.
Reservations: Request all visits online. Reservations are made to plan sitter availability to clients. Therefore, clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled.
Returning Home: All clients are to confirm their return home to Heart 2 Heart Pet Care; otherwise, we will continue to make visits to ensure the well-being of your pet(s) at standard pet sitting rates.
Payments: Payment is due in full on or before the first day of service unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MC and Discover. Payments can be made through your client profile page.
Arrival & Departing times: Are GPS captured. We check in and out of each visit from our vehicle.
Rabies Vaccinations: Must be current.
Aggressive Pets: We do not pet sit aggressive pets.
Contagious Pets: We do not pet sit pets who are at risk of infecting others.
Pet sitting hours 7:30am – 5:30pm.
Holidays:
+ 17.50 per visit
Holidays include New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
Any visits that include Thanksgiving and day after, Christmas Eve and day and New Years Eve and day require a 50% non-refundable deposit payable at the time your reservation is made. Payment in full is due 7 days before 1st day of service. 100% due if cancelled with in 7 days of your scheduled service. Your reservation is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.
Surcharges:
- $7.50 per visit – Weekends
- 50% for cancellations 3 days or less.
Credits: Any credit on your account is good for one year and can be applied to future services.
