Helpful Information You Should Know
We offer complimentary consultations for first time clients who book 4 or more visits. For less then 4 visits there is a one time $26.00 set up fee.
Consultations are required for all new pet care clients.
After the initial set up you can schedule as few as one visit at a time.
Here’s what we cover (approximately 30 minutes) sometimes longer. We will not rush through these. This is usually our one and only time that we meet each other face to face and get to know each other.
- Meet your pet(s) and pass the sniff test!
- We’ll exchange questions and answers.
- Take a tour of your home.
- And most importantly customize a plan for your pets individual needs.
- Please have 3 keys ready at this time. One for sitter, one for back up sitter and one for the office.
- If only 1 key is ready there is a $5.00 fee for each key we need to copy.
If we need to make additional trips after the initial consultation regular pet sitting rates of $26.00 apply. This could happen if you would like to meet a new sitter or in rare circumstances we may need to do a trial run with your pet to make sure we are the right fit.
Every client has a primary and back up walker and sitter, this is the only way we can be sure your pets are always cared for. We can not guarantee the same walker or sitter at each visit. We work as a team, our service is uniformly excellent and not sitter dependent.
Our preferred method for making reservations is through your client profile page or an email. We do not accept accept reservations through texts. Reservations are made to plan sitter availability to clients. Therefore, clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled.
All clients are to confirm their return home to Heart 2 Heart Pet Care; otherwise, we will continue to make visits to ensure the well-being of your pet(s) at standard pet sitting rates.
Payment is due in full before the first day of service unless other arrangements have been made. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MC and Discover. Payments can be made through your client profile page.
A $20.00 trip fee will be invoiced for each trip we make to drop off or pick up keys after our initial consultation. Don’t want to pay the fee, keys can be dropped off and picked up at our office without charge.
Holidays fees: 50% per visit. Holidays include New Years Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
Any visits that include Thanksgiving and day after, Christmas Eve and day and New Years Eve and day require a 50% non-refundable deposit payable at the time your reservation is made. Your reservation is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.
- Pet Sitting – 50% if less then 48 hours.
- Dog Walking – Please contact us by 6pm the evening before and there will be no charge. All walks cancelled after 6 pm will be charged in full, no credit, no refunds.
Any credit on your account is good for one year and can be applied to future services.
